Play and Art Therapy
Play and Art Therapy provides an avenue for children to deal with problems in a natural and developmentally appropriate setting. The process of play offers children a safe place in which they can use their imagination and thoughts to face and cope with issues such as grief, abuse, or behavioral difficulties. Therapists use special toys, sand, art, and structured games to encourage children to engage in therapy. Through the process of reflection, the therapist can offer children support and positive ways to cope with various circumstances.
