Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a scientifically proven to be effective in treating many psychological disorders among children and adolescents, as well as adults. CBT is short-term treatments (i.e., often between 6-20 sessions) that focuses on teaching individuals specific skills by focusing on the ways that a person’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, how they affect one another, and how to change them to resolve present-day problems.
We cannot guarantee results with CBT within 6-20 sessions as it is truly up to the client as their progress is solely based up to them.
